Brief Design a campus for higher education with a large program in a city lacking a coherent university space.
Solution Borrow elements from demographics, climate and building principles of the city. Stitch together different departments and buildings in a similar architectural language. A square grid is followed to define the planning in the entire campus and the interaction between the built and surrounding landscape. The grid is formed by pedestrian circulations and interspersed green pockets. A play in the scale of the grid sizes helped in deciding the function of the landscape ranging from courtyards, to green streets.
My Role Collaborating with the team members and contributing to conceptualisation, development and detailing of the auditorium wing.
